The easiest way is to choose based on three aspects: the surface, the type of sticker, and your experience.

What surface are you applying to?

• Flat and smooth surfaces (glass, smooth doors, tiles): choose a stiffer squeegee — it “presses out” air and water very effectively.

• Curved or uneven surfaces (car body panels, profiles, curves): choose a flexible squeegee — it adapts better and won’t “bridge” over curves.

Is the sticker printed / more delicate?

• If you’re applying a printed decal or you’re worried about scratches, choose a felt-edged squeegee (the felt protects the surface and helps achieve a more even finish).

How experienced are you?

• For beginners, a medium-stiff felt-edged squeegee is usually the best choice — it’s more forgiving and reduces the risk of scratches.

• If you apply decals often, it’s worth also having a flexible “Gold”-type squeegee for curves and edges.

If you’re unsure, the “safe choice” is:
Get two squeegees: 1× felt-edged (for general application) + 1× flexible (for curves/edges).
That way you’ll be covered for almost any job and won’t have to force everything with just one tool.

Also very suitable for beginners. The felt edge helps reduce the risk of scratching the sticker or surface, and the medium stiffness makes installation more forgiving than with a very hard plastic scraper. Good price and optimal features make it a good choice for both beginners and professionals.
