Compared to standard vinyl decals, mirror effect decals give your design a more premium and eye-catching appearance. The same design can look completely different depending on the material – mirror vinyl adds more contrast, depth and visual impact.
The decal is produced using a cutting process – your design is cut from the vinyl and has no background. Once applied, the surface underneath becomes part of the design, giving a clean and professional result. The product is not suitable for too detailed designs with very small details (less than 3mm).
The selected size refers to the sheet size used for production. The final decal size must be specified when ordering and your design must fit within the selected dimensions.
Mirror effect vinyl is more rigid than standard vinyl and does not stretch, as it contains a thin metallic layer (laminated foil). Because of this, it is not suitable for curved surfaces or covering large complex shapes. Best results are achieved on flat and smooth surfaces.
For best results, we recommend simple designs with clean lines. Avoid too detailed and small designs: very fine details (less than 3mm thick) may not cut well or may not hold properly.
We primarily need clear contours from your design. The colours used in the file are not important, as the decal is produced in a single mirror colour.
We recommend submitting your design in black and white for maximum contrast and better contour detection. Very light or low-contrast designs may not produce clean cut results.
Vector files (.PDF, .AI, .EPS, .SVG) are preferred, but high-quality raster files (.JPG, .PNG) can also be used.

No. Although the vinyl has a strong mirror effect and a highly reflective surface, the reflection is not the same quality as that of a real mirror. The vinyl may cause some distortion and is therefore not suitable for making a conventional mirror.
Mirror-effect vinyl is mainly intended for decorative stickers, logos, lettering and other design elements where a glossy metallic mirror effect is desired.
