We produce weather-resistant, single-colour boat name stickers according to the customer’s design and requirements. The stickers are made using plotter cutting from high-quality pre-coloured vinyl with a lifespan of up to 8 years. The material withstands salt water and UV exposure and does not fade over time.

A boat name sticker is a simple and effective way to give your boat or small vessel a personalised and professional look. A clearly visible name makes the boat easy to recognise both in the harbour and on the water, while adding a unique touch.

Boat names are typically applied to both sides of the boat or to the stern – choose the quantity according to your boat and preferred solution.

Benefits of cut vinyl stickers

Cut vinyl stickers differ from printed stickers in that no inks are used – the design is cut directly from pre-coloured vinyl.

These stickers are generally more durable than printed graphics, as they do not fade or wear in the same way. Cut vinyl stickers have no background, meaning the surface underneath becomes the background once applied.

Colours and design

There are 24 different colour options available, but the product itself is single-colour, which means you can choose one colour per sticker.

Multi-colour designs are also possible, as long as they do not include gradients. For multi-colour cut vinyl stickers, each colour must be added to the cart separately, as every colour is produced and usually applied as a separate layer.

For more complex multi-colour designs, it is recommended to request a quote, as the webshop may not always calculate the most optimal price.

Application

Boat name stickers are easy to apply and suitable for small boats, yachts and other watercraft, provided that the surface is smooth and grease-free.

All our cut vinyl stickers are supplied with transfer tape, which allows all elements of the design to be applied at once. You can find a more detailed application process in the installation guide, which is available for download above the product description.

We also produce stencils. If the surface is rough, we recommend painting the boat name using a stencil instead (see link), as stickers may not adhere properly to uneven surfaces.

Ordering

When ordering, you can enter your desired name and optionally add your preferred font style or a link to it.

We do not limit you to a fixed list of fonts – almost any font can be used if it suits your boat. To find a suitable font, we recommend using dafont.com, where you can preview your name in thousands of different styles.

Sizes and dimensions

The sizes are based on the area where the sticker should fit, so you do not need to know the exact letter height or width. It is enough to know the approximate space where the boat name should be placed.

Please note that the length of the name and the chosen font affect the final dimensions. A longer name means a smaller letter height within the same width, and more decorative fonts are usually taller.

Colour samples may vary slightly from real-life colours depending on your screen settings.

The selected size refers to the maximum area into which the sticker will be fitted. The final sticker may be smaller than that area, but not larger.

Unless specified otherwise, we usually produce the design at the maximum size that fits within the selected area while maintaining correct proportions.
